A well-known challenge in the industry: keeping Sperant in sync with WhatsApp activity
Many real estate agencies using Sperant capture leads from portals, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and web forms. They all land correctly in the CRM. The problem is what happens next: manual follow-up.
That’s where Gepeto comes in. Our solution connects WhatsApp with AI trained specifically for real estate. Gepeto is an AI agent that knows your projects, availability, pricing, and responds instantly, 24/7. And the question we get in every single presentation is: Can everything that happens in Gepeto be integrated with Sperant?
Yes. And this isn’t just a workaround. It’s a 3-way integration that we have already built, tested, and validated with real estate agencies in Peru.
Not feeling like reading? I explain it here in less than 10 minutes here:
Three connections working together
When we talk about integrating Gepeto with Sperant, we’re not talking about a single connector. To make the experience truly seamless and avoid duplicate work, we implement three flows:
1. Gepeto can create leads inside Sperant.
If a client writes to you directly on WhatsApp without going through a form, Gepeto automatically creates the lead in Sperant with all the information captured by the AI: name, project of interest, phone number, and even the social media ad campaign that attracted that client.
2. Gepeto can update leads inside Sperant.
No conversation held by the AI on WhatsApp gets lost. Gepeto automatically summarizes the conversation, detects the level of intent, and updates the lead in Sperant with tags and the full history. Your sales team opens Sperant and sees a summary of every conversation held with each client, and when they open Gepeto they see the detailed, message-by-message conversation.
3. Sperant can send leads to Gepeto via Webhook (This is key!)
Sperant already has a native process that allows it to notify an external system whenever a lead comes in through a form. We connect directly to that webhook. This way, every lead that is first recorded in Sperant is sent to Gepeto in milliseconds, so Gepeto can trigger the first WhatsApp message and start the conversation instantly.
Without this third flow, you’d have to choose between having your leads in Sperant or responding to them on WhatsApp. With this integration, you get both.
The process in 3 simple steps: from request to actual launch
We understand that an integration between two critical systems can sound complex. That’s why we’ve standardized it into 3 clear steps. We already have everything documented to make your communication with Sperant fast and easy.
Step 1: Request the integration from Sperant
This is a fundamental point: the request must come from you, the real estate agency, as a client of Sperant. Not from Gepeto as a third party. This is for Sperant’s security and control.
You need to write to your Sperant account manager indicating that you want to use Gepeto and that you need the integration to be enabled. Specifically, you need to request these three permissions:
• Allow Gepeto to create leads via API.
• Allow Gepeto to update leads via API.
• Enable sending leads via webhook to Gepeto when they are created from forms.
Sperant will ask you for an explanation of what you need to do. Don’t worry, we provide you with the exact text and the technical justification to make the approval fast.
Step 2: Testing environment
Once Sperant approves the request, they will give both of us access to a testing environment. Think of this as a mirror of your real Sperant account, but with test projects, units, and leads.
This is great because Gepeto also has its own testing environment. So we connect test with test.
At this stage, you, as a real estate agency, can see live how the three worlds interact: WhatsApp, Gepeto, and Sperant.
This is when you can simulate a lead coming in through a form to Sperant and see how Gepeto messages them on WhatsApp within seconds. You can verify how the conversation is summarized and recorded back into Sperant. Your sales team can validate what they will see inside Gepeto and what they will continue doing inside Sperant.
There is no development from scratch. The integration is already built in Gepeto. This time is used for your sales team to validate that the workflow makes sense for them. It’s an internal stage, not exposed to end clients.
Go-live to production
When you see that everything is working correctly in testing, we request the move to production. Production means real: your real WhatsApp number, your real Sperant account, and your real leads.
Here, Sperant does a final quality check. In a short meeting, they validate with you that you are happy with how Gepeto has implemented everything and that it fits your needs.
Once we get the green light, comes the most important part: coordination. We agree on the exact day and time for the launch between all parties: your real estate agency, Sperant, and Gepeto.
Why so much care? So that no lead is lost during the transition. We make sure that the moment we disconnect the test environment and connect production, every lead that enters Sperant is already connected to Gepeto in real time and the WhatsApp message is triggered without fail.
And once that’s done, you’re all set. You now have WhatsApp with AI handling all your leads, while all the relevant information continues to feed into the workflow you already manage in Sperant.
Conclusion: Simple, validated, fast, and 100% accurate
Integrating Sperant with Gepeto is not about switching CRMs. It’s about supercharging the one you already use.
You don’t have to choose between Sperant’s organization and the speed of WhatsApp with AI. With this three-way integration, you get even more out of what you’re already doing: you capture in Sperant, you respond instantly with Gepeto, and you close deals with the full story on both sides.
